Clean, well-equipped room with hot water in the bathroom. Good food, friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location near the railway bridge. Hassle-free early breakfast option.

I had a very enjoyable stay at The Hawes Inn. The room I stayed in, Room 12, was large and bright, with beautiful views of the beer garden, bridge. It was a pleasure waking up to such a scenic sight. The inn also had a large car park, which was extremely convenient in a busy tourist spot. Despite a couple of drawbacks, my overall experience was positive.
The bed, which was small and uncomfortable. I had trouble sleeping comfortably and had to request extra bedding for the sofa bed.

The location of the hotel is excellent as it is very close to the train station, making it convenient for travel to Edinburgh and beyond. it is near the airport, making it an ideal choice for budget travellers. The staff members at check-in were welcoming and the room was spacious. The restaurant/bar had a good selection of food and beverages.
Some areas of the hotel were in need of renovation, with peeling walls and worn-out furniture.

I had a fantastic travellers experience at this hotel, stepping back in time and exploring Scotland. The location on the pier offered a breathtaking view of the bridges across the Forth, including the iconic Forth Rail Bridge. The staff were really friendly and provided great service. The rooms had nice furniture and I enjoyed waking up to a harbour view every morning.
No major issues, everything was ok.
